Karen McElhinney, the owner of Isunga Lodge, writes:
Opened in October 2016, Isunga Lodge is situated on the boundary of Kibale National Park, just a short drive from the chimpanzee tracking start point at Kanyanchu. The lodge sits on an elevated position, with fantastic views over the forest, down to Queen Elizabeth NP and across to the Rwenzori Mountains.
We offer quality, affordable, mid-range accommodation, with six en-suite cottages spaced to ensure privacy. We have our own guide on site and can organise a number of activities direct from the lodge including community and nature walks and mountain biking. The lodge is owned and managed by a couple from Scotland. More information including rates can be found on our website – https://isungalodge.com
