Nile Horseback Safari update

Nile Horseback Safaris is located on the Kampala side of the River Nile, opposite Bugagali Falls. We have 18 horses, ranging from small to very big – all in top condition and to suit any range of experience level. The horses are schooled frequently and are completely bombproof, making them a pleasure for even the most nervous passenger to ride. All our safaris have at least two guides, making mixed group experience fine, as there are sections where people wishing to go faster can branch off and meet back up with the group later.

The scenery is astonishing as we ride along the Nile and up into the big hills surrounding the Nile Valley, overlooking both river and Lake Victoria. On the longer safaris we also venture deeply into Mabira Rainforest. These horse riding safaris offer something for everyone – incredible views, fun, safe and beautiful horses, exposure to Ugandan village life, monkeys, birds and lovely pathways with smiling children waving and singing as we pass by.

We offer 2 hour (80,000), 3 hour (120,000), overnight (from 470,000 staying at the Haven Lodge) and multiday (POA) safaris daily from our premises. We also have a full dressage, show jumping and cross country facility. Getting to us is very simple as we are only 4.5 kilometres from the Owen Falls Dam on Kayunga Road. Free transport from Kampala is available daily with Nile River Explorers Rafting to Jinja. For full details please visit our website www.nilehorsebacksafaris.com or email info@nilehorsebacksafaris.com.
